Our Story so far...
WeWeed was set up after Janet and Justine offered a helping hand to people in their gardens during the pandemic. It became clear that there was a great need, not just for gardeners in general, but also female gardeners who could offer companionship just as much as physical help or creative flair. Our aim is to unite all gardening and horticultural professionals across the UK, to enable collaboration, to support diversity in learning, and to encourage more women to become self-employed, professional and companion gardeners. If you love gardening, have a few hours to spare each week and want to top up your income by helping someone less-able or, if you are already a gardening professional looking to work or collaborate within a supportive, like-minded community, then start your journey here and see where the weeds will take you. We welcome the support of gardeners of all levels as well as designers, landscapers, fencing, hedging and lawn specialists.
