Meet at 11.30am 

Beth Chatto built her five gardens in the driest part of Eastern England with the specific intention of using plants that would deliver in the floral dead zone that is otherwise known as August.

Her brilliant choices are inspirational and everyone needs to see these gardens in August when all around is flowerless and flacid.

Her gravel garden is also a timely reminder of the challenges gardeners face with changing climate scenarios. Simply genius.
